Lapis Lazuli Earrings, Hammered Sterling Silver and Gemstone Jewelry
Lapis Lazuli gemstones are the focal point of this pair of hammered and stamped sterling silver earrings. The large circle is hammered and sawn, the smaller circles are made by melting silver into balls and hammering them flat. The middle circle is stamped with a floral design. These earrings have a rustic, yet elegant look.
I made these earrings and their ear wires entirely by hand. They measure approximately 33 mm ( 1 3/8") from the top of the ear wire. The gemstones are 5 mm.
